NEW LUCKY 7 |

The club today announced their new ‘Lucky 7’ scheme which will be in place for this coming week the 29th March. The new format will allow the prize money to reach a jackpot prize of £1000 with the minimum jackpot prize still a healthy £250. Each week the jackpot prize has not been won £50 will be added to the total until it reaches £1000, once it reaches that figure and it has still not been won, a second prize fund will begin from £250.
Last week saw the jackpot won again, this time by 2 of the first team squad. Michael Oates and Phil Priestley were the jubilant winners scooping £250 each. The jackpot has been won a number of times this season and a full new updated list will be displayed on the ‘Lucky 7’ link page.
With this new system it will not be possible to have sheets in advance and the current sheet to work from will be available to download on a Sunday night after 9.00pm.
Chief Executive David Murgatroyd said, “It would be great if we had a £1000 winner, but in fairness we have had a lot of winners recently and the numbers have steadily grown. I am sure a number of our supporters are now recognising the importance of this initiative and as the ex chairman said it really is the difference to helping our cause on the pitch, as the arrivals of both the Jones players has proven.” Murgatroyd further added “If the supporters who are working at it now – they have been noted – can continue and others also see the importance and contribute, I am sure it will help the management team progress on the pitch, the winning of last weeks sheet by two of the players also confirm they play their part too in contributing throughout the season.”
