CAN YOU HELP

The club would like to know if any supporter is interested in helping the football club by filling two important positions under the guidance of Dave Murgatroyd the Chief Executive Officer. Both areas need the time and commitment to take each project forward and maximise the potential of each project which will ultimately benefit the club, both projects are currently in operation but require dedicated people to concentrate on these areas as a stand alone project - which has been difficult with so many other areas of the club requiring time of current officials - to take them forward and help the club. These are 2 of the 9 positions the club would like to see filled in the future that were distributed and discussed at one of the last supporters meeting.

Any interested parties – or if you know of anyone outside of the club who may be interested - should make contact and deal direct with David Murgatroyd by contacting him at the club on 0161-724-8346 to arrange a meeting to discuss both positions, expenses involvement etc you can contact Dave from Monday to Friday 9.30am-2.30pm.

The role, specifications and requirements’ involved in the positions to take them forward are as follows: -

Sports & Social Club

To manage and develop the complex courts and devise a development and usage plan maximising the availability. Organise and oversee nightly and weekend staffing levels along with coaching staff requirements’. Organise general ongoing maintenance requirements relating to the courts and changing rooms. Develop and maintain a business plan with cash flow projections. The role will also require organising & monitoring activities such as soccer schools, birthday parties, mini tots’ sessions etc and organise and develop mini tournaments and setting up of community leagues and other activities discussed with the club which they wish to develop. The role will also include marketing and promotional requirements’ and can if required include the Sports Injury Clinic. Also under this banner will be organising, developing, overseeing and working of the current schools project and the annual Junior Tournament.

All other areas and targets included in this project are to be identified and discussed further at future individual meetings with David Murgatroyd.

 ‘Lucky 7’

To manage and develop the weekly draw associated with the club, the established ‘Lucky 7’. Organise the weekly production of then, the distribution of them – delivering and collecting – weekly marking and weekly financial summary sheets completing. The role would also include canvassing for new business via visits and letters and also promotion of the scheme both in house – web-site, club house, matchdays etc - and in the local community.

All other areas and targets included in this project are to be identified and discussed further at future individual meetings with David Murgatroyd.  

Both these projects need concentrated time and commitment spent on them and as stated above be a stand alone project without that individual working on any other project at the club. They are both important areas of the club that could help the club develop in the future. The club are looking to try and have someone in place in both of these positions by Monday 17th March
