NEW PACKAGES FOR 2008-2009 The club have announced a number of new initiatives and packages for supporters and businesses for the 2008-2009 season. The club in planning for the future have acted quickly to establish what requirements they will need - regardless of which division or league they will be playing in - to take the club forward. The packages and cost are aimed at both supporters and businesses and have been devised to help the club meet its running and playing costs. Chief Executive David Murgatroyd said, “We have acted quickly before the end of our financial year to create these packages and try to establish the support we will receive for next season, despite which league we are in, although I am confident we will remain in the UniBond league. Hopefully it will show we are looking to progress the club – and ally most of the fears recently held – both on and off the pitch and a number of people are really working overtime to try and make things happen at the club, however I must stress the same factors remain and it must be stated, that the level of support we receive from both our supporters and the local businesses in relation to these packages will obviously determine both how we set up for next season and how we will operate off the pitch and of course with the playing squad we can afford.” The new packages are displayed on the commercial section on the website and will be published in the remaining club programmes until the end of the season. There are also full copies of all the packages available from the club office during the week and on matchdays. If you are interested in any of the packages please contact the club on 0161-724-8346 or 07817-914622 and they will be pleased to explain any of them to you in detail. Chief Executive Murgatroyd said, “We are looking to try and evaluate the level of support we can expect for next season, which allows us to plan accordingly off the pitch and more importantly on the pitch and we have created packages right across the board hopefully to suit a wide spectrum of people and hopefully what they can afford. I think from experience we are aware of the type of financial support we can expect to achieve now; it’s just the levels of that support we need to establish to give us the confidence to allow the management team to keep the players they want and bring in the players they want to provide a brighter future on the pitch I will of course keep everyone informed as to how we are progressing in all the packages”
